Description of the Project GG-CO2

“CO2 separations by using mixed matrix, based on nano-carbon materials, membranes”, Acronym: “GG-CO2”.

The approach in the GG-CO2 project is to combine two types of promising materials, the nano-carbon materials which present high CO2 adsorption capacity and the polyimide material which present high CO2 separation coefficients. Within the GG-CO2 project, the objective is to develop novel nano structured mixed matrix carbon based membranes for CO2 separations

The authors would like to acknowledge the support of the project entitled “CO2 separation by using mixed matrix, based on nano-carbon materials membranes (GG-CO2), implemented under the “Action for the Strategic Cooperation between Greek and German Academia and Industry”, funded by the Operational Programme "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation" (NSRF 2014–2020) and co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund).
